Locked out of your crypto wallet? No fee until your coins are back.
I’m David Veksler. I’ve recovered wallets for clients since 2017 — forgotten passwords, incomplete seed phrases, dead hardware wallets, corrupt wallet files. I work as a named founder through a Colorado LLC, under a written contract, and you can meet me in person in Denver if you want to.

Can I actually help you?
Before anything else, here is what recovery does and does not mean. The assessment is free, and I will tell you when the answer is no.
- Passwords you partly remember, or a list of likely guesses
- Wallet files you still have but can't open
- Damaged Trezor, Ledger, or phone hardware
- Corrupt, obsolete, or pre-2014 wallet formats
- Seed phrases with mistyped, misordered, or missing words
- Coins stranded by a chain fork or the wrong network
- Long-forgotten passwords with no guesses left, where habits and old files still give me something to work from
- Assets still sitting in a compromised wallet, if I can move them before a sweeper bot does
Feasibility is assessed free, before you commit to anything or send me a thing.
- Funds already stolen or sent to a scammer. Nobody reverses a Bitcoin transaction. Here's why.
- Exchange account lockouts — Coinbase, Kraken, Binance. Only the exchange can restore those.
- A truly random strong password with no clues at all. A 15-character random password cannot be broken, by me or anyone.
Locked out? There's usually a way back in.
Most "lost" crypto is still behind a password, device, wallet file, or backup. I evaluate what you still have, and I tell you when recovery is not realistic.
Forgotten Password Recovery
Useful password clues let me build targeted candidate lists and test them with GPU-assisted tools instead of guessing blindly.
Seed Phrase Repair
Missing, misordered, or misspelled BIP-39 words can sometimes be reconstructed. I also evaluate Shamir / SLIP-39 shares.
Legacy & Corrupt Wallet Files
Wallet won't open, or the software no longer exists? I extract keys from corrupt, obsolete, and unsupported formats.
Hacked Wallet & NFT Rescue
If assets remain in a compromised wallet, I may be able to move them before a sweeper bot does. Funds already transferred out are not recoverable.
Physical Hardware Wallet Repair
Dead screen, broken controls, or water damage? I evaluate the device and, where practical, repair it at my Denver bench. Ship it in or bring it by appointment.
Recover by wallet, or by problem.

By problem
Before you hire anyone
Five steps. An honest answer first.
Tell me what happened
Describe your situation in a free assessment. Before anything else, I tell you honestly whether recovery is likely — including when it isn't.
Sign the contract, send the material
We sign the service contract, then arrange transfer of your wallet file or device — by PGP-encrypted channel, tracked shipment, or in person in Denver.
I run the recovery
I match the tools to the case: password testing, file and device analysis, or hardware repair. The assessment establishes what is feasible before work begins.
Your crypto comes back to you
You give me a destination address; I return your coins minus the agreed fee — and help you set up storage this never happens to again.
Your data is destroyed
After completion, or after a no-recovery verdict, I delete case data and return or destroy physical media as agreed.
"How do I know you're not the scam?"
The right question — this industry is full of fakes. Don't take my word for anything. Verify me:
A real, named human
I'm public: my background, speaking, writing, podcasts and press, and a LinkedIn history going back years. Scammers are anonymous; I'm the opposite.
A verifiable US company
Veksler Consulting LLC is registered in Colorado — look it up in the Secretary of State registry under ID #20218030311. Every job runs on a written contract.
Cryptographic identity
My published PGP key signs my communications. Verify you're talking to me, not an impersonator.
Non-custodial by design
I aim to minimize custody. For some wallet types I can work from a wallet file or a password hash without ever holding your funds. When a recovery does require temporary handling, the coins sit on a hardware wallet until they go to your address.
A door you can knock on
Denver, Colorado. Video calls welcome; in-person consultations and hand-delivery of devices, too. Try getting that from an email-only "service."
Published pricing
My fee schedule is public. No quote games, no pressure, no surprise invoice after your coins are found.
I will never contact you first.
No DMs, no "recovery agents" in your replies, no upfront payment requests. I contact people only after they contact me first. Anyone reaching out to you unprompted, from any channel, claiming to be me or this company, is an impersonator. Legitimate messages come from [email protected] or +1 214-659-1775, and are verifiable against my PGP key.
One fee. On success. In writing.
Most recovery services won't tell you what they charge until you're desperate. My fee schedule is public, and it's in the contract before I begin.

Tiers are based on the value of the coins at the time of recovery. Full terms: the service contract.
- ✓No recovery, no fee. The fee is deducted only after your coins are back under your control.
- ✓Nothing upfront, ever. Anyone demanding advance payment for recovery is running the classic scam.
- ✓Backed by a written contract with a US LLC you can verify — and, if it came to it, sue.
"To call him 'highly recommended' is a genuine understatement."

What does it cost?
20% of the recovered amount under 10 BTC, 15% from 10 to 100 BTC, 10% above that — based on the value at the time of recovery. The assessment is free, and there are no upfront fees. Full fee schedule above.
How do I know you won't steal my crypto?
You get a written contract with a Colorado LLC run by a public, named person you can meet. For some wallet types I can test against a password hash without ever holding your funds. And unlike an anonymous service, I'm accountable in a Colorado court.
What are the odds my wallet is recoverable?
It depends entirely on what you still have. Partial passwords and incomplete seeds are often very recoverable; a total loss with no material usually isn't. You get my honest assessment — including "no" — for free, before any contract.
My wallet was stolen, not lost. Can you help?
Sometimes — if assets remain in a compromised wallet, I may be able to move them before a sweeper bot does. Stolen funds already transferred out are not recoverable; anyone promising to "hack them back" is scamming you. More here.
Do I have to ship my hardware wallet to you?
For physical repair, yes — there are shipment instructions — or bring it to me in Denver. For password and seed work, everything can happen over PGP-encrypted channels and the device never leaves you.
